Our Outreach Team, in following the Lord’s command in the Great Commission as seen in Matthew 28:18-20 and Mark 16:15-20 which states “go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature. He that believeth shall be saved; and he that believeth not shall be damned…..” Matt 28:19-20 Jesus commands “go therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of th Father, and the Son and the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you, alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen”.
The only way the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ will out into every man’s world is for the Church through evangelism by winning one soul at a time, ” for God will have all men saved and come unto the knowledge of the Truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave Himself a ransom for all to be testified in due time”. (1 Tim 2:4-6). Also, 2 Peter 3:9 says “…the Lord is ..not willing that any should perish, but that all should to repentance.
SALVATION IS FOR ALL
HOW TO BE SAVED OR TO BE BORN AGAIN
In John 3:3, 7 Jesus said in answering Nicodemus’ question “except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God…He repeats “..marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
Jesus followed on to say in John 3:15-16 “15 that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent His Son into the world; that the world through Him might be saved”.
JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY
Jesus said unto him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh to the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be save, and shall goin and out, and find pasture. (John 10:9).
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts4:12)
And they said, “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, and your house”. (Acts 16:31).
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.(Acts 2:21).
“If you shall confess (or speak out) with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on Him shall not be be ashamed”. (Romans 10:9-11). “For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved”. (Rom.10:13).
SAY THIS PRAYER FOR SALVATION AND LIVE WITH JESUS FOREVER
Lord Jesus, I believe in my heart that You died on the cross and shed Your Blood for my sins,and that you rose from the dead. I now ask you to come into my heart and be my Saviour. I now confess you before man to be Lord of my life.
Heavenly Father, I ask You to forgive my sins and cleanse me with the Blood of Jesus. Father, I thank You for eternal life, and that my name is now in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Amen.
Congratulations for this new life the Lord has given you now that you are born again.
There are these important steps you need to start adopting as a way of life;
- Read the Bible daily (the new Testament first and then the Old Testament)
- Pray daily (or learn to talk to God daily)
- Attend a Church that teaches all of the doctrines of the Lord Jesus Christ
- Tell others about your marvellous experience, as by your testimony others can receive their individual salvation. You will be blessed if you do.
